Stirling refrigerator is the preferred refrigeration model for high-performance infrared focal plane detection components. It works based on the Stirling refrigeration cycle principle. It usually consists of three major components: compressor component, expander component, motor and control component, and is driven by the motor. , using high-purity helium as the refrigeration fluid. When working, a low-temperature area can be generated at the cold end of the expander component in a short period of time, forming a low-temperature refrigeration capability, thus providing a low-temperature working environment of 80K for the detector chip.

The C308 refrigerator is an integrated Stirling refrigerator designed based on the Integrated Dewar Refrigeration Assembly (IDCA) concept. It has the characteristics of small size, light weight, low vibration, good electromagnetic compatibility, and high reliability. After sealing coupling with the detector Dewar component, it can generate a total cooling capacity of not less than 0.4W at the 80K operating point, providing the required low-temperature working environment for the detector chip to work.
