VA-PVS-14 is a very light-weight and compact night vision monocular. It is just 290 g with image intensifier tube.
This night vision monocular is a generalized, serialized, and combined design. It is made up by objective lens, housing kits, and eyepiece. The housing kits includes rotary switch, battery compartment, battery cover, IR illuminator, a photosensitive sensor (as shown in Figure).
Features:
1)Ultra-wide FOV, which can be used for night observation, missions and operations etc.
2) Built-in IR illuminator, which is convenient for observation and use in a completely dark environment: the IR illuminator is integrated in NVM, and belongs to the invisible band, the exposure distance does not exceed 5 meters.
3) Highlight protection: When encountering highlight, the NVM will automatically shut off immediately and powered on when the highlight disappears.
4) Battery reverse protection: When the battery polarity is reversed, the circuit board will cut off power supply automatically and the NVM can not be powered on.
IR Function
With the IR, the night vision monocular will show a very clear and bright image than without IR.This picture shows the image difference between them.
