How to use low-light night vision device

It is normal for the device not to turn on when the ambient illumination is high (usually more than 40LUX). The device has anti-glare protection function to protect the image intensifier from damage. Under strong light outdoors during the day or when there is light indoors, do not open the objective lens cover before turning on the power. At this time, you can view through the small hole in the center of the lens cover.

(1) One thing that needs to be paid attention to before using the low-light night vision device is also the most important point. The low-light night vision device cannot be used normally during the day. It is prohibited to open the lens cover during the day, regardless of whether the battery is installed or not.

(2) Install the battery correctly. Follow the positive and negative prompts on the battery compartment of the night vision device to select the correct type of battery for installation. If there is no prompt, usually the side of the spring is the negative terminal.

(3) Once again, low-light night vision devices must be used at night and in low-light environments. So the next step is to open the objective lens cover, which is the lens on the side opposite to the eye, while ensuring the use environment.

(4) The third step is to align the objective lens with the target and rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise until the target is clear. This step is called focusing. If the target is still unclear whether the objective lens is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise, adjust the diopter adjustment ring (adjustment wheel) of the eye at this time.

(5) If it is a low-light night vision device for binocular viewing, some models can also adjust the pitch distance, that is, adjust the distance between the two eyes to make viewing more comfortable. Of course, if the night vision device without eye distance adjustment function has been set at the factory, there is no need to adjust it.

(6) If you install a helmet or wear it on your head, you need to pay attention to this issue. Some users reported that the phone shut down after installing the helmet. This is caused by the insertion position of the guide rail being too much when installing the helmet. The magnetic flip-up automatic power-off function is a standard feature of many low-light night vision devices for individual soldiers, in order to make it more convenient for individual soldiers to use.

(7) Please remove the battery when the low-light night vision device is not used for a long time.
